I’ve visited several different blogs over the last few days, trying to decide whether or not to create a blog of my own and what, exactly, that blog should convey. One thing I’ve found is that, while the formats are basically the same, each blog is as unique as the person writing it.
Most of the blogs I’ve explored are written by the writers of Fanlit Forever. Sometimes they talk about writing, sometimes they talk about life in general, but regardless of the subject matter, I always come away with a feeling of having spent time with friends.
It reminds me of driving down a neighborhood street at the end of the day, catching glimpses of the lighted interiors of homes, watching children play in the yard, and if the timing is right, catching the enticing aroma of supper cooking. It’s the same with blogs. Bloggers invite you to come in, sit down, have a bite to eat, and share a bit of conversation. That’s one of the things I hope to achieve with my blog. I want it to be one of those houses where you always feel welcome to drop in for a visit.
So, dear reader, consider this your personal invitation to stop by any time. The door is always open, and I will keep the porch light on and save you a piece of pie.

Awesome blog Donna! Now who is my next victim? Laurie? Ashley? Stasia? lol.
I already feel at home. Thanks for inviting me, so what’s for dinner?:)
Hey Donna love your blog page. I haven’t done much with mine. I need to figure out how all the bells and whistles work. Love your song. I should have had my daughter help me through all the technical stuff when she was here today.
