Alice, it's been so long since I blogged over here, I just flat forgot to say anthing to anyone. If and when I blog again, I swear I'll do better. :)

I'd never tried contacts before, so I have nothing to compare my experience with now, but it might be worth giving them another shot. I can't believe how free I feel not having those glasses perched on my nose all the time. It heaven!

Brynna, I've been in bifocals so long, I don't even remember what it was like without them. It's made fitting my contacts interesting, but five plus weeks later, I'm still loving them. I've finally gotten to the point where I can put them in and take them out with little or no do overs. And it's been a couple of weeks since I ripped one of them in half. I lost count of how many times I had to call and tell them I needed a new contact. Talk about embarrassing. I'll swear I wasn't abusing those little pieces of plastic. Really. I must just not know my own strength. :)

It says a lot about how often I go to Bloglines now a days that it took me so long to see this post. You know, if you want me to come by faster, leave a comment over on my blog when you post something here and be sure to include the link back here in the link field, and I'll be right over.

You've got me almost tempted to give contacts another try, But I till remember the nighmare they were when I tried them in high school.

I loved my contacts. You'll get the hang of it after all and then it will be nothing at all.

I'm just at this weird stage now (it's that aging thing) where correcting my minor distance issues screws up my close-up vision. I'm like a .50 correction or something stupid like that, but I have astigmatism. The doc finally just said I'd be fine if I don't wear them. Faraway signs are a little jumpy, but I can still see them and now the words don't float on the page in front of my face. lol. I'm sure the next step will be bifocals, but hopefully that's a ways down the road. :)

If it's any consolation, my head has been fuzzy too. Worse, the package of birthday goodies I sent my mother a week late just arrived on my doorstep. The mailman delivered it to the FROM address, instead of the TO address. Like I didn't have problems enough on my own.

LOL. I like your brain's hiccup moments. They're entertaining. All my cats would chase that chicken, just like we chase the published author dream. So we do need to get writing so it's no longer a dream and fully caught! Right? Can you tell it's late and my brain is tired?

Happy writing, friend!

Hi, Renee! I decided I better quit just putting up a picture and running away. :) As for how I made the correlation between fuzzy chickens and writing, I don't have a clue. Sometimes my brain just has weird little hiccup moments. LOL
